#STRANGE-WIZARD: #STRANGE-WIZARD

TIMELINE

BC 2000-1600
Merc is Born. He apprentices as a metalworker, an artisan and smith. At some point he is stricken ILL by a disease, and in some drug and sick induced psychosis ingests a small figuring of a notched wheel within a wheel. He awakens several days later, healed, but also with a strange dark coloration under the skin of his right ribs, as if a metal was injected there. He later has tattoos which integrate this into the symbol of the wheel within a wheel.

BC 1200
Merc lives. He long ago began to move on, both from the dangers of warring nations, and from the suspicious eyes of those who seemed to get older while he remained hale. He has restarted as an artisan, a tradesman, traveler, farmer enough times that he barely remembers who he was to start with.

BC 200
Merc wanders to EAST-ASIAN continent and befriends a #STRANGE-WIZARD. He adopts the wear of these folk, the ornamental robes, and a wide brimmed hat patched in bright colors. Over intervening decades. He continues to travel back and forth along what becomes the SILK ROAD for centuries, taking years if not decades on a journey, and never arousing too much suspicion, but among the diasporic tribes and traders his legend grows.

AD 1400
Merc has established himself in northern europe during the enlightenment era. He studies the stars, and helps investigate the construction of STEAM-ENGINES.

AD 1750
Merc is somehow in Central America, part of an expedition many years before, where most perished of disease, he floated and wrecked upon those shores. He explores this land for many years.

AD 2100
Merc has moved far north, into British Columbia, to avoid the rather chaotic ongoings of a world where technology and innovation have ACCELERATED, or rather, one with his perspective might believe are heading towards a point... a singularity.

AD 2300
High technology still exists, but is increasingly harder to maintain, even for it's miraculous properties. Many apocalyptic events have come to pass, and humanity remains, although greatly diminished

AD 2800
M.AW is stirring in the world.

AD 3130
M.AW has spread across the world, diversified its forms. Merc and others are actively working to find balance with a new world of LIFE and M.AW
